Spatial (spatialid.ai) is an AI-powered interior design tool operated by Bowling Inc, an S-Corporation, doing business as Spatial (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application and services.
By using Spatial, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you sign up through Google or Apple sign-in (powered by Clerk), we receive your name, email address, and profile avatar. We do not collect or store your sign-in passwords.
You may upload photos of your rooms and living spaces. These images are stored securely and used to generate AI-powered design suggestions.
We collect your responses to our style quiz and any inspiration items you save, including moodboards. This data helps us personalize design recommendations to your taste.
When you request design transforms, we store the generated images and associated metadata (such as the prompt parameters and selected style) so you can revisit and build on your designs.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe may collect information necessary to process transactions in accordance with their own privacy policy.
We collect basic analytics such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the product. We do not sell this data to third parties.
Spatial uses multiple AI services to generate design transforms and provide intelligent recommendations. When you request a design transform or interact with certain features, your room photos and related inputs may be sent to the following providers for processing:
These providers process your data according to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements. We only send the minimum information required to perform the requested operation. AI providers do not receive your account details, payment information, or browsing history.

Your data is stored on servers in the United States provided by Vercel and Supabase. Uploaded photos are stored in Vercel Blob Storage. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data in transit and at rest.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We retain your account data, uploaded photos, and design history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

Spatial allows you to share design transforms via shareable links. When you share a design, the associated images and basic design metadata become accessible to anyone with the link. Shared content does not expose your account details, email, or other personal information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or uploaded photos to third parties.
Spatial uses cookies and browser local storage for authentication, session management, and remembering your preferences. These are essential to the functioning of the application. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Spatial is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the application. Your continued use of Spatial after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
